According to Arif Lim, "Mobile content exclusive formats that belong to LTON, which are popular in China can be examples to create successful mobile content products in Indonesia".
Recently, MNC has completed the acquisition process for 57.1% shares of LTON. The reason behind the acquisition was to penetrate China’s advertising market, one of the World’s largest and fastest growing advertising markets. According to Zenith Optimedia, total advertising spending in China reached US$15 billion in 2007 and is expected to become the World's fourth largest advertising market, after United States, Japan, and England. LTON will also be positioned to grow its TV advertising revenues, through both Tianjin Satellite TV and Qinghai Satellite TV, which are managed by LTON. Other initiative that will be conducted is to maximize the WVAS market potential, which is the origin of LTON's business since its first establishment.
