MNC Peduli Donates Hearing Aid and Artificial Limbs to Prosperous Society

JAKARTA - MNC Peduli always prove their commitment to helping prosperous people, by held Yayasan Jalinan Kasih social activity.

This time, MNC donating free medical equipment such as hearing aid and artificial limbs to all Jabodetabek and Pandeglang, Banten society.

MNC Peduli Chairman of the council, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo said, the medical equipment provision and procurement has been routinely held by MNC Peduli.

Besides of medical equipment help, MNC Peduli also held free surgery activities for people that in need such as free harelip surgery, hernia surgery, and cataract surgery.

“During 2017 we have held the free surgery activities on several cities such as Jambi, Prabumulih, Mataram, Medan, Cirebon, Tulungagung, Semarang, Gombong, Tasik, Karawang, and etc," stated by Liliana at iNews Centre Hall, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/12/2017).

According to her, until October 2017, more than 700.000 patients which are regular or non-regular have received help from MNC Peduli.

“The given donations to society which is medical equipment to support the patient’s activity such as hearing aid, artificial limbs, walker, prosthetic eyes, wheelchair, and therapy tool,” stated by her.

According to her, the free surgery activities will always be held. The harelip surgery for example currently is still running in several cities in Indonesia. In the near, the surgery will be held in Lampung City with patients target minimum 50 patients.

“Furthermore, the cataract surgery will be held gradually for East Java regencies, such as Bojonegoro, Jember, Malang, and Surabaya,” added by her.

Before, this social activity also held in Sukabumi City, Sukabumi District, and Cianjur District. And there are 50 patients of cataract and pterygium that have been participated the free surgery activity at Assyifa Hospital, Sukabumi City.

The social activity also attended by MNC Peduli-Yayasan Jalinan Kasih Chairman 1 Syafril Nasution, Miss Indonesia 2017 Achintya Holte Nilsen, and General Treasurer, Stien Maria Schouten.
