Jakarta - iNews will hold the Indonesia Awards 2020 entitled Pride of Indonesia on October 7, 2020. The committee appointed the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy to be honorary judges along with the Executive Chairman of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
Airlangga appreciates the production of the Indonesia Award 2020. According to him, iNews has committed to respecting government / non-government figures and institutions who excel in education, health, infrastructure, creative economy, and public services.
"During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the appreciation shown by iNews through giving awards to both public figures and government figures was very noble," said Airlangga at iNews Tower, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Friday (2/10/2020).
Muhadjir conveyed the same thing. The former minister of education and culture praised iNews for its efforts to give appreciation to figures and institutions who remain dedicated to developing the country amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, the theme of the Indonesia Awards this year is very appropriate, which refers to the situation currently being faced by Indonesia and the world, namely the Covid-19 pandemic.
Executive Chairman of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo said the Indonesia Awards 2020 wanted to inspire people to do their best in their respective fields. The goal is that people will imitate this and be able to make Indonesia even better.
"So, this event aims to inspire the wider community and give appreciation to those who excel," said Hary.
The Indonesia Awards 2020 will provide awards in three main categories, namely Public Figures, Professional Figures, and Special Awards in the Health Sector.
iNews will also give appreciation to eight categories: education, health, infrastructure, creative economy, public services, governance, public information disclosure, and city governance.
