Global Mediacom Allocates US$ 40 Million Capital Expenditure in 2015

JAKARTA - PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) allocates capital expenditure (capex) US$30-40 million to support its business in 2015. This was stated by Director Syafril Nasution.

According to Syafril, this year's capex will be obtained from funds of internal cash and bank loans. As for the portion are 60 percent-to 70 percent of bank loans and 30 percent-40 percent of the company's internal cash.

"There are a lot of local and foreign banks that have committed to give credit to the company because the performance of the company has always grown from year to year," said Syafril, in MNC Tower, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (05/20/2015).

On the same occasion, Director of BMTR Handhianto Kentjono Suryo explained, about US$20 million capex will be used to support the business of PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY). Moreover, capex will also be allocated for the construction of additional buildings and others.

"For MNC Sky Vision, the funds will be used primarily for purchasing decoders, upgrading our equipment and increasing the number of channels," said Handhianto.

Over the expansion, the company targets revenue growth of 10 percent but according to him, the realization of revenue targets are mainly still dependent on global macroeconomic conditions.

"Initially, our revenue growth target of 10 percent, but we still see macroeconomic conditions. If the macro-economic condition is fine, we are optimistic that the target will be reached. We also saw consumer demand, due to the impact of advertising spending," he said.
