JAKARTA – MNC Group, through MNC Peduli, distributed numerous qurban animals to communities in need in Jakarta. This initiative supported residents celebrating Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah.

On Friday morning, June 6, 2025, the handover of cattle and sheep took place in Rawa Barat, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, and was met with enthusiastic gratitude from the local community.

Jessica Tanoesoedibjo, Chairperson of MNC Peduli, personally handed over the qurban animals to community representatives on Jalan Citayam III. "We from MNC Peduli are handing over qurban animals to RW Rawa Barat today, because we believe that we must be a channel of blessings (for others)," Jessica stated at the location.

She affirmed that MNC Peduli continuously assists those in need. It's hoped these qurban animals will benefit the community. "Our hope is that the distribution of these qurban animals can be a blessing for the surrounding residents. Of course, they can be distributed, especially to residents in need, and can become a channel for us to strengthen ties with the residents of Rawa Barat," she added.

Beyond Rawa Barat, MNC Peduli also distributed qurban meat through Pondok Pesantren Luhur Al-Tsaqafah in South Jakarta. The Islamic boarding school welcomed the initiative, benefiting its male and female students. This annual distribution consistently receives a warm reception from local communities.

The qurban animal distribution by MNC Peduli consistently draws a warm welcome from the community, particularly in Rawa Barat, a regular beneficiary. Aries Setiyarto, Chairman of RW 01 Rawa Barat, expressed profound appreciation.

"I thank you very much. MNC Peduli has never been absent every year. Hopefully, this will continue and bring blessings to MNC and all employees, and others related to their care," Mr. Setiyarto remarked.

According to Mr. Setiyarto, a company shouldn't solely focus on profit but also on how to share. "This cattle donation, which is a mandate from MNC Peduli, will certainly be distributed to those who are entitled, those who need it, those who truly today can enjoy the taste of beef," he explained, emphasizing equitable distribution.

Representing the residents, the Chairman of RW 01, along with RT heads, PKK mothers (Family Welfare Movement), and all community members in Rawa Barat, extended their gratitude for MNC Peduli's generosity. Moving forward, there's hope that MNC Peduli will continue to provide benefits and contribute to assisting communities in need.

"Our hope is that MNC will certainly have other things that can provide benefits, that can provide utility for the community, especially in the RW 01 area of Rawa Barat. Other things like home care or empowerment that aims to develop and empower the community so they can play a role in society," he concluded.
