Jakarta – Every year on November 10, Indonesia commemorates National Heroes Day. To mark this occasion, MNC Peduli, through its Smart Generation for the Nation’s Children program, held the event Remembering the Heroes for Indonesia’s Golden Generation at SDN Menteng 01, Central Jakarta. This initiative was also part of the 35th Anniversary celebration of MNC Group.

 

The commemoration of Heroes Day serves as a tribute to honor the services and sacrifices of Indonesia’s heroes in defending the nation’s independence. Beyond remembrance, the occasion also aims to shape a young generation with strong character, high spirit, politeness, competitiveness, and deep love for the country.

 

As a company that places strong attention on education, MNC Group remains committed to improving the quality of education for the nation’s future generations, while instilling the importance of remembering the struggles of Indonesia’s heroes.

 

During the event, students of SDN Menteng 01 enthusiastically participated in various activities, including hero-themed competitions, coloring contests, and a traditional costume show. Teachers also joined the celebration by taking part in the traditional costume show. The atmosphere was further enlivened with student performances such as choir singing, traditional dances, cultural music, and more.

 

Carrying the theme “Building a Future Together”, the 35th Anniversary of MNC Group also encouraged teachers to foster students’ interest in reading. Developing this habit from an early age helps children sharpen their ability to understand the meaning of every written work. As a concrete form of support, Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo personally handed over hundreds of reading books to SDN Menteng 01, symbolizing MNC Group’s commitment to building a brighter future for Indonesia’s next generation.
